At any given time, our Restoration Team works on several projects simultaneously. For historical and archival purposes, our HIW photographer diligently takes pictures during the restoration and documents the various processes each machine is being put through. We have compiled the photos in a photo gallery for each machine. We hope you enjoy them.

Virtually at the same time as Clymer, Richard Cope went into business in the early 1820’s to manufacture his Albion iron presses. Cope's Albion instantly became a strong competitor to the Columbian. Dated 1865, our Hopkinson & Cope Columbian is indeed made by the strongest competitor Clymer had. Tantamount to say Toyota building a BMW. HIW feels this machine is an important piece of history albeit a very plain one.
Featured here is the restoration of the 1865 Hopkinson & Cope Columbian Press.
