On September 28, we opened our museum to public in conjunction with the Doors Open Oakville and the second annual Print Expo & Fair. Nearly 500 in attendance, 22 vendors and artists participating, a dozen volunteers, sold out workshops, and a successful bake sale by Hailey and Sarah. Over $1,000 was collected for the benefit of the Lighthouse For Grieving Children in Oakville.
We’d like to express our appreciation for all of the support we received from the Doors Open Program, Oakville Historical Society, all volunteers, and participating vendors and ambassadors.
Special thanks to Print Panther, Oakville Blueprinting, Graphic Roll Coverings, Hubbub Paper Co., and Image Four - for providing the printing services, materials, paper, and ink supply for this event and throughout the year.
Last but not least, we'd like to thank Margot Cudmore and Joe Borges, of Pomegranate Letterpress + Design, who had once again signed up to help to organize the event, and for their continued support of the museum's endeavours.
Hope to see you again next year.
